I am going to get my tattoos removed....

Well... I am going to get one removed and depending on how difficult the process is I am going to get 2-4 removed. I definitely want to keep my back piece, and may even get it redone larger... But I want to remove the tattoos from my arms.

Laser treatment here I come.

Why are you going to get them removed?
What do you have tatted on your arms?
Why keep the one on your back?

Answer these questions three, and you shall unlock the way to Cheryl Cole's vagina.

I dislike the tattoo on my arm also, but i would never have a tattoo removed. Tattoo removal takes out the ink, but still leaves a scar where the tattoo was, which is just as visible as when you had the tattoo.

Because I dont like that tattoo, im getting it covered. I plan on getting a half sleeve, with something I will spend alot more time thinking about.

I don't like tattoos as much as I used to. And I definitely don't like a couple of mine. Like my tastes in art, music and film have changed over the years, so has my liking of different body arts. I was going to get it covered with a sleeve, but I think my tastes would change again in future and I'd want that removed, or would regret it.

I also find I am constantly hiding them at work, or when talking to certain groups of people. They don't give of a professional look in my business.

On my arms is an arabic tattoo, and some initials on my wrists.

The one on the top of my back I like, and it is far more discreet than my wrists or forearms. Not that I even dislike my wrists, I like them tattoos still. The tattoo on my lower back needs to go, I hate it and had it done when I was 17 and stupid (more so than now). I wouldn't mind extending the back tattoo I like to cover the removed (or lightened "removed" tattoo).

A friend of mine is removing a tattoo on top of a tattoo and when it is lightened is going to get a new tattoo. So far it doesn't look too bad. No scaring. 50 Cent has a few scars. But my tattoos are all black, so hoping scaring would be minimal.

I did think I'd get a sleeve for years, but have had a recent change of heart. See above.

I had a small tattoo of the Southern cross and disliked it so I turned it into a half sleeve. I love how it looks now and I also have my ribs done. I can't see myself ever wanting them removed though. I've heard it hurts twice as much as the tattoo itself.

I do agree about sleeves only suiting some people though and it does matter what profession you are in. If I see someone at a club or pub with a full sleeve I automatically think this guy is a gangster or a wanna-be-gangster

on a side note, a friend of mine has Arabic writing on his arm that is crooked and supposedly means 'Unity Is Power' LOL wtf!? I'm going to see if I can find a pic..

This is how I feel.

Although I was watching a programme on TV last night and Anthony Kiedis and Flea were on it. They have lower arm tattoos and they seem to suit. So maybe I am just paranoid, and my issue is only with the tattoo I currently have rather than all forearm tattoos.

I think I put too much importance on tattoos. Most days, I feel that I won't get a tattoo until I really know what I want. Other days, I feel like it's no big deal and just get something (but obviously not as dumb as my name, my initials, my horoscope, or my date of birth). Those are all things I've seen my friends do. Idiotic. Your date of birth? What, you'll forget? GTFO IDIOT.
