i deadset cannot explain it, i was asleep, then i woke up and felt like i was bein held down and my whole body felt like it was shakin (but it wasnt) and i couldnt move, i was tryin to break my way outa it and i was scared. i couldnt realy see but i felt like there was a thousand people around me watchin and it was kinda bright. then i just fought my way outa it. i was lying there thinkin about what just happened, i was scared to roll over in my bed that it would happen again. i prayed and then tried to go back to sleep

i know it sounds weird but i cannot think what happened to me. i was actualy thought something was tryin to possess me or something. i havnt told anyone

please share if you'v had a similiar experience or have any idea what happened

thanks Liltrigger, i did, it said
"Some people with disrupted sleep schedules or circadian rhythm disturbances experience sleep paralysis"
which makes sense cause i start work at 4am. and that night i accidently put my alarm on for 10pm and it woke me up, then i went back sleep then it happened

thanks , this is really interesting

"""
Sleep paralysis is a condition that occurs in the state just beforeThe Nightmare by Johann Heinrich Fussli, 1781 dropping off to sleep (the hypnagogic state) or just before fully awakening from sleep (the hypnopompic state). The condition is characterized by being unable to move or speak. It is often associated with a feeling that there is some sort of presence, a feeling which often arouses fear but is also accompanied by an inability to cry out. The paralysis may last only a few seconds. The description of the symptoms of sleep paralysis is similar to the description many alien abductees give in recounting their abduction experiences. """"

check this out

"""People frequently report feeling a 'presence' that is often described as malevolent, threatening, or evil. An intense sense of dread and terror is very common. The presence is likely to be vaguely felt or sensed just out of sight but thought to be watching or monitoring, often with intense interest, sometimes standing by, or sitting on the bed. On some occasions, the presence may attack biting, strangling and exerting crushing pressure on the chest. ""

It might be worth going to a doctor to check it out. It might just be stress, but it can be caused by low levels of melatonin, which the body needs to ensure a regular circadian rhythm.

You might want to try sleeping on your side rather than your back, too.

hmm, probably was that sleep thing. But check out 'astral projection' to! :D
Actually, astral projection is linked to sleep paralysis. In rare cases people become paralysed but get a floating feeling, as if they are floating outside of the body. It's rare, but it happens and people often attribute it to so-called astral projection.

i do lucid dreaming and this happens all the time

its just that your sleep cycles get fucked up,cuz u know when u sleep, theres sleep cycles in the brain,so u wake up in between when they're switching. thats when u feel paralysed when u cant move or anything, but u know ur awake.

its no big deal, its nothing to worry about.usually when this happens,no one remembers it,its rare that you remember it. i guess it was just luck u remembered it.
