Im not as excited as i thought id be tho. Its gonna cost me a pretty penny to attend. For those you are in university right now, how do you pay for it all? Mad saving or student loan?

if you say so... i know people with doctorates in romance languages (not just french) and they're stuck teaching at community colleges.

a question worth considering is why would someone get paid just because they speak french in a country where it's the national second language? no diss, but a person who grew up bi-lingual will probably be a more attractive candidate than someone who attended a private school.

i'm only saying this because it's important to cater your studies to the demands of the real world. in my town we have philosophy phd's driving busses.

hm...yaa...definately something to think about. I hear about these incidents all the time. I dont really know what to say about that. Having a bachelors in french would expose me to more than just the government i guess. Like some company wanting to expand to France would wanna look into me for sure.

Congrats. Where's trent at? I gotta figure out what to major in as well. Heading into third year and it may look like English for me which doesn't make too much sense but I'm hoping things work out once I decide what to do for grad school.
