I ate peanut butter and jelly for the first time!

#1
I am 17 and I finally tried peanut butter and jelly for the first time ever. I feel like I accomplished something. There's always been hype around PB&J.

I didn't eat PB&J till a few days ago because I always had a fear of peanut butter, eventhough I love peanuts.

:D

Peanut butter is great. Not sure bout the combo though.
I'm gonna make myself a peanutbutter sandwhich now, thanks for the idea.

Tip: When you toast a piece of bread leave it there for 1-2 minutes, then put the peanutbutter on it and enjoy.

Yea, if you put the peanut butter on too early its gets all oily and it doesnt taste too good.

I don't like Jelly I am not one for mixing of tempratures of my food I like one consistant temprature and the cold jelly turns me off.

What wild hair made you want to finnaly try it?

I hope this dose not lead to other expermintation. Pretty soon you will be putting shit like Lime in your Coke-a-cola.

there was a time around jr high that did not like pb&j's. the free lunches at my school was a 3 pound peanut butter and jelly on white bread. this shit was so thick it came through the bread. heavy little sandwiches too. you could knock out a teacher with one. i hated those free lunches. but i love them now!

lol congrats on your accomplishment. I can't believe you've never eaten PB&J! That is the shit. Only grape jelly though. Have you ever eaten a peanut butter and honey sandwich? That shit is great! Just mix some honey up into your peanut butter and make yaself a sandwich. We used to get those on every field trip when I was in elementary school and that's still one of my favorites to this day. I even got my kids eating it now. For those who haven't tried it, try it sometime, I bet you'll like it.

Peanut Butter and then Nutella.
I was at someone's house and was making breakfast - saw the peanut butter next to the nutella, remembered what you had said, but couldnt bring myself to try it, lol!

I dunno about peanut butter and jelly....not something I'm keen to try.

Luv4Pac, honey and peanut butter, aww nah.

I like my peanut butter by itself, dont wanna ruin the taste. Crunchy flavour on toast, thats the way to go!! :thumb:
