Just exagerate what was in the car, digital camera, ipod etc etc. If you have reciepts or boxes from shit you own say that got stolen too ie you laptop.

^If you've got the balls, do what the gangsta says.

If you get away with it, the 'pain' of the past month will seem like it was eons ago......which it probably will be, depending on your judicial system.

Zero Cool: Well, since the theives broke into my car and didn't steal the car; rather they only stole items from it.So, it was burglarized.

Dave D, the insurance wouldn't cover anything except the CD player and the window. Even the CD's, they said it wasn't covered. 200 dollar worth of clothes gone. :(

TeckNeeX: I'm just going for a vacation. See my fam. You know. been 5 years since last time i was there. I'm off to Yemen. Long trip, but worth it.

Devil: yeh man, it's goin be crackin haha... smokin sheeshah, maybe some qat too.. just to chill...

Duke, thanks man...

Thank you everyone, today is my last day here on TB.

Obviously it's an Americanism as such a word is never used here. We would say "attempted burglary" rather than burglarized. Anyway arguing over such minute points of information is rather asinine. Have a good trip, you're a good poster and a knowledgable guy :thumb:

As far as i know, "burglarized" is the official form in the English language.

"Burgaled" or anything to such extent would be more of an Americanism.

No. It may seem so if you learned American English in school but over here (Ireland) the word burglarized is never used. It may have been used at sometime in the past (much like many other words used in the U.S.) but has now fallen out of usage in the rest of the English speaking world.
