It's a cell phone/PDA.

Yes, this is more tech talk business, but i don't need to know anything about the phone itself. The clue is i can purchase it but it's not very smart, but i really really want it. I don't need a PDA or anything and this would be burning off money for something that i desire, not something i need. But it is so fucking awesome:

What to do?

Btw. the "> Meyer" part in the title obviously has nothing to do with the thread.

razors are nice..this is the one i have..got it a while ago...

Why did you waste your money? Motorola's suck, Internal memory sucks, most don't even have a memory card slot (including the RAZR), most are Branded aswell. And the Bluetooth is stone age, take 4x longer to send or recieve something on bluetooth than is does on a samsung, nokia or sony erricson.

Yep, i just bought the ASUS P535.

Oh my god, what a waste of money...
Lmao you went for it.

I ended up chickening out. There's a new HTC called S710 that i looked at too. It's a much simpler PDA phone than the TyTn, but that's also the clue. It's easier to use as a phone, and not as sophisticated as a PDA. It's the first PDA (or was it the first HTC?) to use the Windows Mobile 6.0 system. The fact that it has Windows Mobile is enough though. I don't really NEED a touch screen or that large a display. Homegrown appz and warez ftw. For once in my life I am going with reason. I shall purchase the S710.

In other news, just as I was on my way to get the last one from the storage room earlier today, one of my co-workers were already there. It was just sold lol :( Need to wait till over the weekend to get more. But I am almost certain I'm getting the S710.

Meyer, what manufacturer makes Blackjack? Is it just called a "Blackjack" or is it like "Nokia Blackjack" or something? Either way, I think I would have a hard time finding accessories for it over here. Not just that, but service wise, if I get a buggy phone I'd probably have to get in touch with customer service in a foreign country and work everything out myself. I doubt the Blackjack has Norwegian characters, but what do I know. Our alphabet has three characters that most of you other suckers don't have. Norway = your intelligence + 3. Bye.

yeah okay thats what i meant, what brand. i don't know, i'm not a huge fan of samsung. qtek/htc phones have always been known as very good pda phones and i know several people who have had very good experiences with their various models. the store i work in primarily sell htc on the pda front. it's what we know best, and it's what our corporate customers have been the most satisfied with.

the difference is htc specialize in pda and smartphones. i remember really wanting the p800i from sony ericsson once upon a time, but after having seen and used an htc i find most pdas and smartphones made by the likes of nokia and sony ericsson are laughable in comparison. i'll admit i have no experience with samsung smart phones and pdas, but i don't feel like i'm really missing out if i rather got for an htc anyway so.

samsung make good phones but we speak of PDAs now.

i do have some life but it is little. i rely upon things for joy. but most of all, i don't have anything else i need to spend money on. i could donate it all and save a little kid's life somewhere but some other kid would still die so it's pointless. i rather spend it on bullshit. i am that terrible.

:)
