How do you manage your time?

#1
I get the feeling my life is a mess. Nothing is organized. I need help with scheduling things and setting time for everything. I am not sure if organizing things and using an organizer really helps, but its worth trying.

Anyone know if organizers (electronic or paper) are useful?

Look at Rukas. He has work, school, posts regulary, has time to manage two or three websites, and still has time to hang out. If he can juggle all this, I need help from someone like him.

I have a marker board on my room that I go to everyday to write down things that need to get done, homework assignments, notes for later, etc. It really works well so I don't forget things. If I'm really bogged down with work, I'll take five minutes to actually schedule what I need to do on that board so I don't wait till the last minute.

Yeah, I'm feeling pretty disorganised at the moment - which annoys me, because I was always motivated and organised before... dunno what happened... (I think it was broadband internet and the computer being moved into my room.... lol.) I have set my priorities in not necessarily the best order.... BF > Friends > Work > Uni > Family.... Often one comes at the expense of another... :(

I dont think organisers and whatever help all the time. Knowing what you have to do/scheduling (which is essentially all an organiser can do), is one thing but getting them done effectively is another.

I'm feeling exactly the same, I do lots of things everyday and I don't have time for everything. I don't like organizers, I've tried some of them but they were useless. Instead, I try to set goals for each day, for example, tomorrow I'll have to finish an assignment, study from page 300 to 400, etc, and if I manage to do all that, then I can go out for half an hour, come here and post something, or whatever I feel like doing.

If I don't do everything I planned (which heppens most times!) I feel very guilty, and that makes me work harder on the following day.

It sounds very stupid but it works for me There must be an easier way, but I haven't found it yet, I'll let you know if I find it out, whatever it is. Good luck, try not to panic! ;)

Well, I do have my problems with organizing myself. I always get my shit done, but it's always stress. If I have to take a test, I might have to learn the whole night cause I did start to late with my work etc. Over all, I struggle myself with organizing my time. I'm always late as well.
