So if I shoot up drugs with my friends knowing I have AIDS I'm attempting to murder them?
well what would you call it? you're giving him a deadly disease that will eventually kill him, that sounds like attempted murder to me

If you inject it into them against their will then yeah. Or if they are unaware you have aids and think the needle is safe and you don't tell them.

It's a little bit of a different situation though as you are both being negligent to your bodies so i think you could only really be convicted if it was forced.
Well attempted murder obviously means ATTEMPTING MURDER, the guys intentions weren't to murder the little girl, he just wanted some ass.

that doesnt matter, if you knowingly infect someone with aids you basically have just given them a death sentence. there is a law stating this, look it up :thumb:

Fair enough, I'm sure they dont call it "attempted murder" though.

actually it is considered attempted murder, there was a case where a guy knowingly infected a bunch of women, and thats what he was charged with

murder of two women

01:45 2005-11-15
A judge ruled Monday that a man who has tested positive for HIV must stand trial on first-degree murder charges in the deaths of two women he allegedly infected through unprotected sex.

Aziga is also accused of endangering the lives of 11 other women with whom he allegedly had sex. Those women are alleged to be victims of aggravated sexual assault because authorities believe they didn't know they were having unprotected sex with an HIV-positive person.
The Supreme Court of Canada has ruled that one partner cannot give true consent if the other fails to disclose an HIV infection.
So the Mens Rea comes from him knowing but not telling them he was HIV. There is a more solid precedent from the UK but i can't find the information on it.
