can anyone confirm that HIGH TILL I DIE is not just a MIXING of vocals, cause I remember that it sounds kind of suspicious as if someone mixed these verses together, and even the single lines... so where does this song come from ?? Rec. in about 1993 ?? what ya think
I cant imagine it being recorder at Tha Row. It sounds THAT MUCH like sth prior to that. The title alone speaks for a Thug Life era track, but I might be worng in my remembrance cause I aint listened ot that song for like YEARS as I have just realized.....
it was recorded for murder was the case as was just doggin......they didnt make the final cut and then were sold for use on the sunset park soundtrack........thats why it says pac appears courtesy of death row cuz the song was owned by death row but not used until later........dante?
It's on the Sunset Park soundtrack, and from what I've always heard, it's DR era. btw, Just Doggin' was supposed to be on Above The Rim, not MWTC, you actually hear it in the scene where he goes to that club with Birdie

Well that actually sounds interestinG! Well, that would mean it was recorded indeed in 1996. Or the 'Courtesy Of Death Row' information in the booklet for the Show SDK was just due to the fact that Pac was on tha Row at the time this SHOW SDK hit stores (1997)!
...I doubt that it was recorded during DR era, because DR used to give out NO Pac tracks to any albums that aint theirs ever since 1996, especially not to a 'Show' SDK.

yessss thats what i was confusing it was above the rim........so it was done before pac signed to death row......so its not actully a death row era track just a song death row had in teh vaults before pac signed
pac stated that his atr contract was for two songs - pain and lttg. he also recorded for murder was the case, and that's where high comes from. no one knows for 100%, but this explanation makes the most sense.
Yo, man, Thanks for these great scans. But does that mean that 'My Block' (when siad thatits Interscope's) is not at all from the Death Row erwa but recorded in 1994 ??? Please confirm, Dante.

ok so i was right i remember hearing pac had a song doen for mwtc wich most likely is high till i die.....death rwo sat on it until pac died and used it for sunset park........which explains why the credits say courtesy of death row since pac was signed even though teh song was done before pac was on death row

You misread my post. Just Doggin' was meant to be on Above The Rim, not High Till I Die, HTID is a Dr era song, he just took the first verse from another song (I'm Losin' It) and rerecorded it (and maybe the second verse, I'm not sure)
Dante, I learned a lot this evening, but last question: can I now suggest that 'Life's SO Hard' (Gang Related version) is pretty much if not exactly as its OG ? Prolly tehy didnt change it at all after 1996. Just like LOST SOULS' !! Please holla back at this.
