Heaven & Hell

#1
A lone warrior, tired of fighting and killing, decides to consult the counsel of a wise Tibetan Master on what Heaven and Hell are like.

"Excuse me, o wise one” said the warrior “but I have been led to believe that you can explain what heaven and hell are like".

The Master didn’t reply immediately, only to mirror the warriors seeking expression instead. After a few moments of contemplation the Master insulted the warrior on the whole stupidity of the question.

The Warrior was infuriated and quickly drew his sword to the Master, and dared him of more insults.

'There!’ said the Master ‘There is hell’

The warrior took an expression of bewilderment, before gently sheathing his sword and bowing in deep gratitude to the Master

The Master said ‘That is heaven!’

I like reading little stories like this, thought i'd share it.

Dante, I don't know why you're saying foolishness, this is everyday life. An individual living in hell can only feel resentment, hatred, or in this case ready to kill. My definition of hell is looking at a crackhead, you know the life of a crackhead, and you can only say that it is truly hell.

Heaven is a smile, happiness, gratitude, what have you. It could be a doctor saving a very sick patient from the verge of death. For that patient who has felt so much pain or hell, she is now able to feel a piece of heaven.

A good comparison:
Hitler is to Hell, as
MLK was to Heaven

Illuminattile, stop thinking so analytical, use your brain's right side more often.

You not like Parables Dante? lol.

Mind, I guess that they aren't used that much anymore, at least not in the west. I got this out of an Eastern book of philosophy/religion.

We in the west don't get parables anymore, we get belts, canes, and slippers!
