Who is grandparentless please raise your hand.

*raises hand*

Lost my grandma this morning, apparently she died from a heart attack but the doctors were not sure because while trying to reanimate her they gave her some medicine that made her blow up. So when I saw my grandma dead, she was blown up from everywhere, I was scared she was going to explode. There is now an autopsy that is going to happen.

Anyways.. it sucks to be grandparentless. Actually 2008 sucks, lost 2 grandmas.

Have a nice day or a good night.

What do you mean blow up...? Blow up as in swollen up? Blow up as in land mine blow up? Blow up as in just the heart popping? :(

sorry to hear about your loss ive been grandparentless for 6 years now.

it will be tough the first couple of years, you'll think they'll call you on the holidays or whenever to check up on you. but realizing that there not gonna be there.

have faith and believe.. there in a better place and watching you and your family from above. proud of what you've become.

Yeah. I lost 3 famili members in 3 months this year.

2008 sucked ass for me too.

If it makes you feel any better, I know how you feel.

Whatever people say, only time will help you get through it. Keep on doing what you do and you'll be okay.

You'll never get over it obviously, but you'll be able to cope with it.

Sorry to hear it Carmi.. I wish i could say something a bit more touching, but i find it difficult to empathise in these situations because i will never understand how much feelings you had for her.

But try keep your head up and be close with your family.

Sorry Carmz... Sucks, I lost my gram last Thanksgiving... how ironic too... and it feels like yesterday. When something exciting happens, I still reach for the phone to call her.. her number is still in my cell phone book. I actually called Verizon and cursed the CSR out b/c I had a voicemail on my phone from her that i was saving and it erased.. I don't think it ever stops hurting.. just some days are less than others.. I'm really sorry Carmi.

I guess it's more of a shock. I get to experience 2 different grandmothers dying in different ways. One was dying slowly, took weeks and the other it was a heart attack and she's gone. I guess the bad thing with the last one I said it's that it takes time to realize that she is indeed gone. I barely realize it now and it's been 4 days.

I can hold it up pretty good, I mean I'm not much of a cry person, I don't like crying. I started crying when I asked my supervisor Tuesday to get Friday and Saturday off for the funeral and it was the first time I cried for her death since Sunday. It was weird.

Anyways I'll survive. I was taking that Italian class to be able to have long discussions with her. I guess now it's not really going to happen but it's always good to learn a 3rd language.
