So, i've been wearing my hair like this

Roughly, that's exactly how my hair looks. And i'm thinking of going more sleek for the new 22 yo me :)

What do you guys think about this??

Should I do it or no???

Why should you care about what we think? (In terms of how your hair looks)
I just asked for opinions, geesh. It's not like based on what the poll is, that'll be my deciding factor and even if it was... what difference does it make to you or anyone? Answer the question or not, lol.

I like both, but Iv'e always been a bigger fan of curls. I say try it though, you won't know how it looks on you until you try it, you can always take it back.
Ditto, love curls. I kinda want to try it just because it'll be something new and if I don't like it... all I have to do is wet my hair :)

Yup in most ppl's opinion due to westernized standard ideas of what beauty is. Not mines though.
That raises a new question then.

If your perception of beauty is something you hold dear, and if you have your own opinion about it, why do you care for our advice?

And "westernized standard ideas" lol... I look at a woman, either she's hot or she's not. It has nothing to do with her clothing or hair-do. If you look for guys who go for that, in most cases you end up with a dirtbag. So the question here is, if you want our advice and we give it, why do you feel you need to make the point that you don't care for westernized standards? You sound confident enough to make this decision on your own.

You asked for advice and you got it.I personally like ethnic girls, whatever ethnicity it be. I don't care if it's curls or straight. But if I was put in a place where I HAD to answer, I'd say go with the straight hair, see how it works, if you like it, keep it, if not, go back to your old hair style. Simple as that :)

Do whatever that makes you happy. I think that's what your friends would expect from you - to be happy.

I've heard things like "Beyonce's hot because she's got the white girls hair" = please shut the fuck up. (yes, it was Brian Ness - he's white)

What's wrong with just getting other ideas? Also, it sparks discussion as this is a message forum, lol. No discussion would leave this place boring. I'm not hung up on images. I do what makes me happy. Do I prefer curls, certainly, I'm a fan of natural beauty. That doesn't mean I can't play dress up and try something different every now and then.

And for your other comment, that's what you do. Doesn't mean that's what the general public does. And again, i'm not basing my decision on what the poll results are. I just wanted some other ideas.
