Bueno. Well since Ive always been curious about the meaning of your "English" and my ignorance on the terminology/slang in your diction has gotten me into trouble in discussions; would anybody care to explain your slang to me? IE: taking the piss, going out on the piss, getting pissed, pissing, etc... Thanks in advance. :)

wtf is "taking the piss" and "going out on the piss"? taking a piss and pissing means urinating. getting pissed or getting pissed off means getting angry.

better to get pissed off than pissed on, no?

taking the piss= making fun of someone
going out on the piss= going out to get drunk
getting pissed= getting drunk or getting mad
pissing= urination
or pissing about= messing about

anything else? :)

Isn't this thread about slang and not about the differences between American and British English?

Better than "slacks".

punting means hailing a cab...thats some crazy shit to me right there
I've never heard that used. As far as I know, 'punting' means gambling. Usually betting on horse racing, which is popular over here. A 'punter' is a gambler or, more generally, a customer.

the only 1 id change is getting pissed - where i live it means
going for a social drink, not getting bladdered/drunk..

see even within the UK things means different things let alone
across the ocean...
