Thats a classic comment comming from a german! the ugliest language on the planet.Although i do think the glasgow accent is terrible, i think you will find the edinburgh accent or mid scotland accent is really soft an sweet sounding! Belive it or not the scottish accent usually wins when it comes to british/Ireland accent polls, us or the irish.

k69tie it dont always rain thats nonsence.(Dont diss me i have an english surname)

You don't believe that do you. What a little poll says, it's a subjective thing anyway. All the insecure Scots spend the £1.50 to vote in these polls I bet. Taxed!

Police are continuing inquiries into a triple shooting at a garage in which a man died.

The 21-year-old suffered fatal gunshot injuries in the attack at Applerow Motors MOT Station in the Lambhill area of Glasgow.

The incident happened yesterday at around 2.15pm.

Strathclyde Police said two other men, aged 41 and 26, were seriously injured in the shooting, believed to have been carried out by two men wearing dark clothing.

Both casualties are being treated in hospital.

Detective Superintendent Campbell Corrigan, the officer in charge of the investigation said: "We are still trying to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the incident.

"An extensive forensic investigation is ongoing at the scene of the incident."

The area has been notorious for problems with drugs and violence in recent years but locals have been reassured that extra police will be patrolling the area.

A mobile police office has also been set up at the scene.

I'm just staying overnight in Central Glasgow coz my bus leaves from there early in the morning, then I'm staying in Ayr coz I fly to London from Prestwick. I'll have been in Glasgow several times now but never actually seen the place, it's just where I fly in and out from. I heard so many bad things about it but it seems like an ok place to me. Edinburgh is really nice. Nothing is better than the Highlands though!
