this is an official death row/eagle records release. if you want to see more 2pac on shelves, your dollars send the message that they need to hear. likewise, if a live album sells more than lttg, the message encouraging raw and og footage/music is delivered.

2pac live was a bootleg put out by koch without death row's consent.
long story short, koch wanted to release the material that was given to them by dr, although that was merely a draft of the project. after dr dragged their feet in typical fashion, koch made their own cover and tracklist and put out the cd. this is why death row issued a press release stating fans should not buy the live cd. although death row got points on the release, it wasn't the product they had envisioned and therefore did not endorse it. anyway, this is a better and more refined product that is legit. the same reasons you should have bought all eyez on me applies here.

I did buy the Koch release cause I thought it was the real deal, so I guess I should buy this since I do suport the cause.

I was a pretty big Kurupt fan but him going to Deathrow made me lose my taste for him so I have not even D/L the shit.

it's essentially the full concert (2pac, dpg, snoop, finale) minus interludes and skits. it's a full soundboard copy, so the vocals are pure and the instrumental tracks are qually as good. crowd noise is there, but only as picked up by performers' microphones. overall playtime is 79:50.

To anyone who has heard the new release of the live performance, does it include everything uncut, specifically the part where Pac was like, "It's a nigga named Nas... and he kick it with these niggas named Mobb Deep... and they kick it with some niggas named Bad Boy... and I say fuck 'em all... so I'm gonna take this nigga Biggie and whoop his ass with his own' mothafuckin' beat."?
