Constant Headrushes

The last couple of days I've been having constant headrushes. They don't last longer than a second and there's not a big rush but sometimes I'll have 10 in 30 seconds or something.

Anyone have any idea what this is? It's starting to annoy the shit out of me and making me paranoid.

(No, they also happen when sober)

idk what the fuck a headrush is... maybe you're talkin about gettin light-headed?
A headrush is when blood suddenly rushes to your head because of a long period of inactivity (You will feel dizzy). This usually happens when you're getting off a couch or a bed.

I get it a lot due to something to do with my glucose levels or a lack of sugar...I doubt that is what you get, I also remember when I was smoking a lot of the time a few years ago I would get a headrush feeling that was similar to the effects of the weed even when I was pretty much sober, but again I doubt that is what you got...BTW I thought you had to quit smoking, or at least was quitting?

everybody gets them
it generally happens when you sit down and get up too quickly, because your sitting down/lying down your blood is only pumping at a certain pressure, but when you suddenly get up, for a brief moment (until the pressure adjusts to the gravity and your body position), there is a lack of blood going to the brain thus causing people to get head rushes.

right, it's a lack of blood.

Working out will help. 2 get slowly up will help. Get enough sleep. Eat enough. Anything that makes you're heart beat a lil quicker will help (like coffee).

wrong,
it's too much oxygen in your brain causing the light head feeling.usually cuased by a mixture of stress, lack of physical activity, and drug use.try taking more vitamins, cut down on the drugs, excersize more and have time for relaxation like meditation or reading.you'll get better in about 2 week to a month.

Wrong, it is blood pressure. It's a lack of blood to the brain which is why you get light headed and feel fucked. Get your blood pressure checked at a pharmacy or doctors Chronic! I'd lend you my machine but your too far away. :thumb:

^lol, I never said it was high blood pressure, I implied (and meant) it was low blood pressure!

What are the signs and symptoms of the condition?
Low blood pressure may or may not cause symptoms. Many symptoms get worse when the person stands. Common symptoms include:
lightheadedness or dizziness
excessive sweating
fainting
a feeling of an abnormal heartbeat, called palpitations
