tech talk

have you specified the file type, certain folders can be created to hold specific file types aswell, both would need to be the same

well i always just went to my songs, right clicked, and clicked send to MMC. its always worked, but now the same exact tracks wont work anymore. like i took song 1 from album/folder A a long time ago, now when i try to take song 3 from same album/folder, it says it cant be created. same with when i try to sync it via windows media player.

If drag and drop fails, you might need to format the card (make a backup first).. that might work.. or try it in a different machine

Exactly.

Try it on another machine, and see if it gives you the same error. If it does, it's probably your card.

What type of memory card is this, SD or a USB thumb drive? You may need to update drivers, or just simply reformat the card. Right click on the card in My Computer, Properties, and go to the tab that allows you to format it.

Is the card full?......you never know lol.

Did you fuck around with it on windows and made it read only and/or put a writable protection on it?

Do you try to copy a lot of songs at once?

Do these songs have very long names or special characters?

These are some of the things you can look out for other than the stuff mentioned above.

Lexar Micro SD card

Its not full, not even halfway.

I did try to copy a lot of songs at once, but it also fails when I try one song at a time.

buy a better card. Sandisk are the best if it comes to Transflash memory cards. Kingstons are also okay.

It's a 5$ thing so it shouldn't be a problem.

Have you formatted that card?
