College courses , Degrees etc

Can people who are in higher education/adult learning post up what they do, and what it will eventually lead to. Also say what it could also get you if you were not to get your originally planned job/career.

For example if an English Degree was obtained, but there might be no demand for English teachers, then what else could you use your degree for.

Biology-Pre med, then I will apply to Medical School and do my residency in Emergency Medicine/Trauma Surgery.

Trauma Surgery is similar to General Surgery.

Not applying to medical school would mean I would have a BS in Biology, but there are no jobs in Lebanon for Biology majors so I would have to go for a master’s degrees and/or PHD then teach and/or work in a LAB.

I'm 2nd Year Electronic & Computer Engineering

Leads to a Masters.

Last year of BSc Information Systems.

Eventually lead to a job with Accenture, Fujitsu Services or CapGemini (depending on where I want to work)...or McDonalds (have branches everywhere man).

I like my degree because it's quite flexible.

Bachelor of Commerce - most likely majoring in marketing / economics/ finance.

Either way, Ill prob venture into a career involved in marketing, banking, finance, etc.

Leads to some consultancy type of job.

BA Marketing. Originally I was going to do a post-grad in Journalism and make a living doing that, but now I'm not so sure. I like marketing.
