been there a couple of times, didn't had any problems....besides feelin a lil tired afterwards or so, but that's normal.

Second. The first one was more than a year ago but back then, everything was ok. I didnt have any problems. Dont know, must have forgot to drink enough.

Also, i have a pretty rare blood type (in germany): 0 rhes. neg.

My bad luck: With 0- i can give my blood to all the other people with different blood types but i can only receive blood from another person who has 0-. Nice.

Edit: Do you guys get money for your donation?

Over here u don't get no money for blood donation but for 'blood plasma' you do (takes a lil longer though and the effects are a lil more severe then if u only give blood)

My auntie has that blood group too - it is rare here in the UK too.

Its different. I didnt get any money where i donated. But there are some places you get up to 50 or 100€. Thats what my girl said....i dont know how reliable it is.

Mmm i don't know - maybe you get paid if you donate straight at the hospital? Over hear you donate at a local community centre and then it is sent on etc.
