the most unexpecting thing happend tonight..i was watching tv... and out of no where all the lights went out. i just opened my balcony window and sat there for a bit......admiring the scenery and the noises of ppl yelling a little. if it wasnt for the light on my cell phone, i probably couldnt have seen anything in the dark cuz we didnt even have proper batteries or flash lights..we had these so called "flashlights" where u push in a button and it lights up...but yeah...lights are back up now...

ever beeen in a lights out situation like this one? tell me about it..

All the time when I lived in Cali. Usually it only happens here when its snowing a lot. I kind of like having no power though. Makes you change your ways for just that little bit, its cool.

My girl and I were visiting her friend once and her and her man were doing "something" in the bedroom with the TV on loud and bed light on, they couldnt hear us knocking on the door. So I got the brilliant idea of jumping the fense, going to the outside fuse box, and turning all the power on.

We hear a commotion they start swearing, get a torch and start looking to see whats going on. Im stuck at the side of their house and it occurs to me that the guy is a pretty crazy dude that will probably stab first and ask questions later haha, I was right, he did run out with a knife but saw us straight away.

They were sooo shook hehe.

the power guys out here at least 20 times a year, mostly in summer when its reely hot. i hate it because i cant do anything and the air con goes off.

I live right in the CDB so we got a lot of back up generators and stuff considering they cant afford the hotels and businesses to black out heeh...

Im actually moving into a hotel suite soon, but thats a whole nother thread
