Which was the best batman movie - Batman Begins or 1989's Batman?
This new one was pretty tight, only batman didnt drive a tank..he had a pimp wagon like micheal keaton drove. Michael Keaton had a lame chick viki vale, but this one had katie holmes..who's nipples were visably hard through the whole movie.

I' say the new one. It was a better written film and the storyline was cooler.

I did like the first Batman though, It was the first 12 certificate in the UK, and I was only 10, ooooohhhh, I went to the Cinema and thought it was pretty cool. The plot was pretty weak though. And Christian Bale would kick Michael Keaton's arse in a fight.

both films had a tight plot. 1989's batman had the joker in it right off top, but also had a black harvey dent played Billy dee williams..which was supposed to be two face. The charactors were all there, and the plot seemed to flow along just like the comic.

This one seemed much closer to the charactor as well as the mood of the book..not to mention ras ah gul was 100% the same...

1st one def. new one was good, but just not better....and plus the fact that C.Bale was trying toooooooooo hard 2 sound mean as Batman. He was forcing it.

it's tough...i've loved the first one for so long that even if BB happens to edge it out, it won't be for a while...they're about tied though

I like BB better, but when the original w/ Michael Keaton came out I was a huge fan cus I was only like 8 or 9. The new Batmobile is dope btw.

i liked the new one more, but expected the classic batmobile...the tank wasnt cool, however nice to see katie holmes, hope its a rival saga against spiderman, batman would slay spiderman, period.

I am going to see Batman Begins, in a few hours and I will tell you what I feel then.

I just had to point out, while Batman did not drive a Tank, there are even more inconsistancys in the 89' film.

1) Joker dose not kill Bruces parents

2) Joker is not Jack Napier, Joker never had a real name in the Comics.

All comic movies take libertys, I mean look what they did with Spider-Man they made his webing be organic, wich actully is better then the comic's IMO.

With spiderman the webbing wasnt a big deal, but it made interesting situations when he couldnt work so he also couldnt afford to make the web fluid-so the charactor would have to get around that..

Yes I realize that the first batman didnt have everything right down to the letter of the book, but i dont know..maybe its because i was like 9 when it came out so i have a soft spot in my heart...

its very hard for actors to live up to the characters we loved so much from the 2d stories.. but i feel that Ron deserved an Oscar for his great performance as HellBoy he was born for the role. pity the story was weak.

Same here man, I loved the movie, cause I was always a big Batman fan. but after seeing Batman Begins it makes me not even want to watch it any more.

Batman begins followed more closley to DC's comic book versions in my opinoin, i really liked the new one A Lot it is by far my favorite batman. i do really like the first one ever made. but it doesnt stack up to this one at all.

I just heard on the news that they are planning on remaking the other Batman movies with Christian Bale As far as I'm concerned, the first Batman owns all the others, including this one. Jack Nicholson was born to play the Joker, they couldn't have cast that role any better

^^^i agree...but with the next one, it'll be a different story with the joker so it'll be interesting to see. apparently two-face is supposed to be in it too. i hope somewhere down the line (like the 3rd of 4th one), they do the "knightfall" story, where bane breaks his back.

I saw Batman Begins 2 days ago and it was really a great movie. In my opinion better than the first, and the batmobile is cool as fuck. This movie was actually pretty realistic.
