you'll end up as a prostitute in Moscow if you want to sleep outside every night.

And if you want to go to England, go by plane. My sister's BF just went from Belgium to London for 14 euros.

Thing with Ryan air is that they go from small airports to small airports so they don't pay taxes on the big airports. They don't even serve food in the plane, you just bring your own food. which is not that of a bad thing.

If you want to go from Paris to Rome for instance... you'll have to go to some small airport outisde Paris and you'll land on some small airport outside Rome.

You do the rest by train.

But like I said... Rent a car is awful. Only use it if you want to do small distances.

In Croatia it's really useful and it works well, because theres so much tourists there that the price for the rent a car is really really cheap. You have tons of companies.

But I just thought about it and... your choice of countries is really not going to do any good on your wallet you know... You picked the most expensive places.

LOL, I know but those are the places that seem interesting to someone like myself on the outside looking in. I didn't realize how expensive they were until I started to research prices for this damn trip

I might have to cut a few out and do it in more than one session. The bad thing is the main countries I want to visit are Ireland and England and they are apparently the most expensive... :(

Maybe I'll just go to Greece and say fuck everything else :(

Don't wear any kind of American flag (or your friend) or anything like that on a bag. Head to Europe with that, they'll treat you like shit and overcharge you on everything. Yes, we are dirty bastards like that. lol..

Thanks but I wasn't planning on it. I'm not a fan of this country in fact I pretty much despise it. If I could figure out how to become a citizen somewhere else without losing my citizenship in the Dominican Republic I'd do it. It's too expensive and so difficult to become a citizen somewhere else unless you're a celebrity it's frustrating. It's something I won't be able to do until i'm probably in my 30s

Greece??? FUCK Greece... it's expensive too...

go to Croatia, its the same thing as Greece and Italy but 10 times less expensive. And I'm god damn serious!

Besides.. me and FlipMo will be there next summer so we might help you out you and your friend and make you visit a few places.

Anyways, if you are black and you go to Greece, chances are they'll spit on you and beat you up.

Black as in I have more pigment than most? or what? Not trying to be funny but "Black" means a lot of different things depending on where you're from.

What's to do/be seen in Croatia?

Trish. The first thing to do is plan your route. Seriously, that needs to be your starting point. Then you can break everything down into sections and I can help you out with certain bits if you need it.

No, as in a non-white orthodox. Greeks, along with Russians and Serbians, are the most racist and less tolerant people in Europe.

In Croatia you can see basicaly the same views as in Greece and Italy. Especialy in Dalmatia (the region which is to the coast of the Adriatic sea) The Adriatic sea is really really beautiful.

As a matter of fact, European businessmen are buying entire Islands on which they build hotels and such touristic emplacements. It's really growing into a God damned touristic place...

My villa there went from 250 000 Euros in 99 to an estimated 1 000 000 euros in 2006. So you can see the demand.

Dubrovnik :

The most visited City in the world in 2005. I hated that summer. At least I stole I have no idea how much money on the beaches.

The nightlife is pretty much different from what you experience in the States. It's much more laid back and relaxing.

There is tons and tons of terasses and small bars and pubs right next to the sea.

It kind of looks like this:

You get drunk and you jump in the sea at 7am and you are fresh for a new day.

anyways, if you want me to help you with europe, I know pretty much all of the good sites because I've traveled my ass off in europe.

just add me on msn..

If your coming to the UK I recommend you do some research on Chavs, cos if you go to the wrong place, especially in London, you're gonna get robbed.

Soho is traditionally the deviant district and heart of the sex industry in London, as well as the gay community.

In 1999 a neo-Nazi nail-bombed a pub in the gay district which killed three people and injured loads. The ironic thing is that 2 of the 3 people killed were straight.

Good stuff. :D

And that will teach those heteros to hang out with gay people. :thumb:

Ireland isnt that expensive. You will get decent accommodation here for a cheap price. Its about the same as America. Some things like clothes tend to be expensive. You should come to Ireland if you really want too.

hizzle?,Id love to go to Croatia or somewhere in the Balkans. Is it as hot as places like Southern Spain or Mallorca and other Mediterranean places?

Any plans to go to Spain Syn?Mallorca and Menorca are among the most beautiful places on the planet.Mallorca has got very commercialised but there are places in the north especially, that are very nice.

Well it is the mediterranean...

In my hometown of Mostar, it was 46 degrees celsius last week...

But thats a record lol. Usualy its like 30-35

In croatia, I dont care honestly, I sit on my terace and the wind takes care of the hot air. If I'm bored I just jump in the sea which is like a 20 second walk from my terace... I have two little private beaches for myself. hihi.

but like I said, I'll be there next summer. I have enourgh room for 14 people. so you two can come by if you want. we'll get smashed. lol

Ive always wanted to go backpacking but in the end i just end up booking a typical club style holiday (Ibiza this year).

Anyway i've spoken to someone who has done a lot of travelling and he found the best way to do it (in mainland Europe) was by nighttime sleeper train.

P.S i'd recomend you visit Bratislava :D

I'll probably still go... Nah, I don't really have any interest in seeing Spain or France. But thanks :)
