Anyone play video games on their laptop?

I ask because I've noticed that my laptop gets very hot when I do so. Though that's to be expected to some extent, am I putting my laptop at any serious risk of being damaged by this excess heat in doing so?

I use an IBM ThinkPad T43 if that changes the prognosis at all.

I do... i have an R60... and its ventilation system is good but it still gets hot...

its normal and its obviously not great for your laptop, but its not that bad...

only old school roms.. and nope the machine doesn't get hot. maybe something wrong with the fan in yours could be dusty or something.

It should be alright, as long as you're not playing for hours and hours a day.

7 Syns - You play MAME? I nearly fucked up a whole laptop once just from playing old school "Track & Field". I was hammering that space bar like a bitch lol. That game rules.

no i used to play games like nba live and runescape but that was on my old computer..i dont download too many games cause there is a chance i can get a virus...so basically i just stick to candystand.com and yahoo pool when i do play
