sam goody, musicland, virgin, tower, and the other major chains had put all new jack r&b and hip hop into "black music" sections since the early 80's. i know because i used to buy music every tuesday and be it in chicago or oakland, it was always the same. this changed in the early 90's, but that's not to say that some po dunk store hasn't gotten the newsletter. that, or someone at a store put up an old sign to take a picture and be a funny guy on the internet.

didn't kid rock cut his first album in the late 80's? before vanilla ice i think.

i almost felt bad for laughing as hard as i did at that pic.

yes but this photo certainly isnt from the late 80s, look at the rest of the albums

lol I just saw jesus now.

i think kid rock had his debut in the 80s, but that cd is from the mid 90s at least.
