Oh yes, and guess what, a Formula 1 car would fucking obliterate that.
I give up. Most of you can't seem to see the revolution that is this car. It's not about looks. It's not about straight line performance (of course a GTO is going to take it. It has a petrol engine 4 times as big, wanker). It's a about a small car with an even smaller diesel (how many times am i going to need saying that?) engine doing what it does.
Of course there are still bigger and faster cars around. Fuck oath, no surprise.

You're missing the altogether point of this thread. It's not whether you like it or would buy, it's about how this car does what it does how it is. It's about engineering. There's more engineering in that lil diesel VW than is in that big lump of GTO you're so fond of.

notice i said cars....is a pickup truck a car?? no, it's a fucking truck....of course those fords and dodge power trokes run on diesel....does the everyday person drive a truck?? no, they dont...they drive it for work....ok, some do drive pickups for fun, but they arent that popular....

or am i ignorant for stating my opinion, the car i like, and my views on a car??? at least i use support to back my opinions up, so that i dont sound like a complete jackass when someone challenges it...it shows that i atleast have some thought that go into my answers, which isnt a sentence long like, "i liked the specs but not the design, as long as they change a few things to design it should be good"....

some cars do have diesel. it isnt as popular though because america doesnt have as an intelligent set of consumers overall to work with. alot of people in the U.S. dont know how to drive manual, as to where alot of european countries have nothing but manual cars.
