I hate to tell you but you're wrong on that point. While you may not remember what went on while you were in the womb, a baby does recognize it's mother after it's born. The whole time they're in the womb, they hear their mother's heartbeat louder than anything else. After a child is born, it can still recognize it's mother's heartbeat. That is why when a baby is crying, more often than not it will stop when the mother puts it close to her chest to where it can hear her heartbeat. Of course after it gets older, that memory will be gone but it's there at birth nonetheless. A baby will also recognize it's mother's voice because her voice can be heard inside the womb. You need to read up on the subject brother because you'd be surprised at what a baby can recognize after it's born and even while it's in the womb.
I used to not really care anything about abortion. I felt like if that's what you wanted to do, then that's your choice. That was until I had my little girl. After my second child, I wasn't planning on having anymore and then I got pregnant again. I seriously considered abortion, even called to make sure I wasn't too far along to have one. Then I decided agaisnt it for reasons unknown to me at the time. After I decided to have her, I worried alot about how I was gonna raise 3 kids because me and their dad weren't on good terms and we eventually split up for good before she was even born. But after having her, I knew why I changed my mind. She's the greatest little girl. She's 8 years old now and I wouldn't change a minute of what I've been through. I would have missed out on having the sweetest little girl.
You know when you have sex, no matter what birth control or precautions you might take, nothing is 100% effective. The only thing 100% effective is not having sex at all unless you're ready to face the responsibility of what may happen. I'm not saying you should have to raise the child, you can give it to someone that wants it if you don't, but you should have it. That's the breaks when you have sex, like it or not.

I have done a decent amount of research on this subject and i do know that the child shares a special connection with their mother. Point is, the baby doesnt know that it is its mother. All it knows is that it was inside of that human being, and it becomes used to it. It doesnt know that you are it's mom. It doesnt know that you carried it for months, it doesnt know your first and last name, it doesnt know anything about u except that u were all that it ever knew. It only knows what u tell it, and who knows if it even remembers what u told it, because it cant tell you. I know i may come off as extreme on the computer but i am only trying to get my point across as vividly as possible.
I love kids. I want to have kids. I want to be someones father and try and raise a child that is well-rounded and thinks for themselves. That is at the top of my list of dreams. Knowing that i have someone,that needs me, that needs me to guide, talk to, love, makes my life seem worth living. Knowing that I am helping shape and mold this person into what they are going to be in the future fills my heart up with happiness, and there is nothing more in life than i want to do but have a loving family around my children and I.

No one can ever tell me a story or countless facts that will make me change my mind on this issue. Women have already fought too hard to get the rights they have recieved through the years. We are going back in time if we as americans overturn Roe V Wade.

omg Helena that was horrible but i gaurentee most of em on here who have responded supporting abortion wont care, why cause Mtv an every other garbage form of media has told em its ok, its ok to abort your baby cause your irresponsible. So hell if a woman gets pregnant an she can choose to abort the child because "she wasnt ready, money's too tight already yadda yadda" then i say shit hey when money gets tight an lil Johnny is just too much why not abort him too an call it a "Late Term abortion" Or Grandma is becomming a handful so lets give Dr.Kevorkein a call. That's what I wanna know. If that were the case, there'd be a whole lot less people in this world. Some of the greatest people come from bad homes and some of the shittiest people come from good homes. You can't just say "Oh John and Ann ain't shit. They ain't got shit, ain't ever gonna have shit so they shouldn't have kids cause they won't be shit either." Most people want more than what their parents had so they work harder and make something of themselves. Unless your parents had endless funds for you and spoiled your little bad ass, you want more than they had. You don't ever know what someone will become in life so how can you say that they shouldn't be born unless the parents are stable?
I think people saying that there are plenty of wanna-be parents out there keen to raise these would-be babies are ignoring the fact there are many children in Orphanage's who dont have people flocking, ready to raise them. If abortions were outlawed we'd have women still getting "backyard" abortions, Orphanages filled to the brink, and a whole lot of child-abuse, homelessness and lets face it some good parents. I'm for mothers and fathers making their own decisions, put in that situation I couldnt see myself getting an abortion unless an extreme case of danger to my life, being raped etc. I do think that abortions need to be strict on who can get them, psychological support and education on better contraceptives - That needs to start early in a persons life too, parents scared of educating their children on safe sex should be more fearful of having grandbabies too soon.
Im glad all the republicans can make up their minds for everyone in the United States. Im sick the Republicans and how they feel about abortion. I love how u guys try and make decisions for everybody. Just because you think its right, doesnt mean the entire world thinks it is. Let me tell you, life isnt as easy as u think it is. i find it really funny you are trying to tell me life isnt easy. i lived on this earth longer than you have, worked more jobs than you have, clocked more hours than you have, done more adult things like, take loans for cars, pay them off, take out student loans, pay my way through school, and work my way through life since i was 16. dont tell me about life not being easy. i know all about real life.
