Each time I see the footage I still get chills--i can't say I've been affected about something like that for this long.
Rest in peace to everyone lost.
On a side note, my father was in the Pentagon that day on the opposite side and no one on that side felt a thing. They didn't even know something happened until they saw it on tv. Just interesting...

it's haunting to hear and see the footage today. there's this feeling today that almost seems as if it just happened. just trying to imagine the terror of people who jumped out of the towers or those who were on the planes is just chilling.
the emotional response this day ellicits should have been harnessed to find the culprit. i'd pay $20 a gallon if need be to fund his capture. instead our focus drifted to other targets in the middle east and the man who plotted this atrocity is still walking free.
