i went to pakistan. i saw my extended family, a lot of animals, and a lot of guns. i did not once see enough of a woman. i came home tonight and saw a department store ad for women's underwear.
from a hip-hop perspective: if you teach a 15 year-old english swear words, the next time he borrows your ipod he will repeat every single line eminem has ever spit with a newfound reverence and then burst into a fit of giggles.

I feel that your thread title is somewhat misleading.
People's understanding of it might be that you had no access to media because you were in a third world country.
But that's not the case, you just didn't happen to have access to media.
But yeah where in Pakistan did you go?
Out of interest, do you, or any of our other fellow South Asians here have, or have seen, a map of Punjab that shows both the section of Punjab that's in India and the section that's in Pakistan?
