Hm, i live the specs and the interior, but i'm not feeling the looks =/

the back is kinda nice....but the front is too.......sweet. too mundane, too "city-car" instead of "turbo-monster".

Would you say, judging by this pic, that we're dealing with a 260 BHP cannon?

I wouldn't....it lacks that demonic aura..

edit: pic wont show, it's the dead-on front angle.

Im not impressed at all, especially with the engine. With the IS350 coming out next year debuting at well over 300 hp i dont see why any v6 powerplant couldn't. The look is decent i guess, not a car im feeling, i can see girls drivin this for sure

Eh, i'm guessing the IS350 is a tad more expensive, though.

Still, i agree that 260bhp from a 3.8 litre engine isn't a lot. And certainly not when we take Mitsu's V-tec system (or whatever they call it, same principle) into account. That 3.8 isnt exactly stressed out.

Why they've changed from 2litres turbocharged engine to big V6's is beyond me.

Shit, are they or are you speculating? That'd be the bomb though :D

Im still not liking it that much, but modded it can look nice i guess. Stock looks horrid.

With an after market front bumper that would look mad.

The back looks like the bastard child of a 350z and a VW beatle.

got the answer in One sentence,
Ugly looking with shitty horsepower because of a v6 and to top it all of its a another ECONOBOX with FWD.

Coming back on this, that engine should have some potential in a little(ish) car like that. One ought to be able to do something with that whole three and a half litres. IHE, forced induction system, some proper ECU mapping and boom, 450bhp should be feasible.

and with all of that.
u got a huge tab and at the end of the day u got a FWD RICE BURNER WITH A COFEE CAN STICKING OUT.

So what if it's FWD? It certainly is no rice burner. It's not even in standard trim. 260 PS is decent enough.

People call Japanese cars "Rice" too fast. Rice is looking fast without being it. Do what i said and you're hella fast.

Whether you want 450 bhp on your front wheels is a different matter entirely.

the car does have potential. if someone can properly build it, it might be able to tap well over 300whp all motor. thats nowhere near rice burner. rice burner is what i see in new jersey, kids with wings, alteezas tail lights, and wont leave mustang owners alone. their cars run 18 second quarter miles and make around 90whp. this eclipse is NOWHERE near rice burner. this thing runs 14s out of factory which is good for a fwd eclipse. i used to own a dodge stealth r/t. and i can tell you it was quick from a roll. and guess what it made 222hp all motor. the same if not more than some mustangs were making at the time. the car handled good too, we always took it to the park to run it in the twisties and we had no oversteer, only in the rain. that car was bone stock and didnt sound ricey at all. it sounded quiet at the lower rpms but still had a growl like a supra, and when it opened up in the higher rpms, it sounded like a supra too.
