Rukas - I'm looking at you here. DP - I know you've released material before so maybe you can contribute as well.

What is the stupidest question you've ever been asked in an interview?

The one question that gets asked a lot that we all really hate, is "So how did you guys meet?". It's such a fucking dumb question. Who cares? What kind of answer do you expect? We met in a fucking bus stop? In the supermarket? In the queue for a public toilet? It's such a moronic question.

The other day we got asked "What's your favorite kind of ice cream?" which was quite funny though because it was a real serious interview up until that point.

I thought about making this thread because my management just sent me THREE interviews from newspapers and magazines that I have to do today. I kind of like text interviews because you can really think about what you want to say, but I also really like spoken/radio/TV interviews because they're so random and you have to think quickly sometimes.

You guys remember when Tupac said something along the lines of "You ask me a question I've been asked a million times, I'mma answer it like I'm bored, because I've answered it so many times. Ask me something I've never been asked and I'll answer it fresh because I ain't heard that question before!". It's so true. Especially with text interviews because you basically can end up saying the exact same shit all the time.

well i think it depends who your asking because i've asked almost every person i've interviewed how they met pac because there is a history behind it....and usually they tell a story from what they remember..and with old those memories..other memories come out and they share other things as well... and you could put 2 and 2 together and add things up to find out more about pac etc, etc..

I interview Rukas all the time and usually ask him questions like "wheres the remote" or "can you spare a smoke?"

Sometimes I get real technical and deep and ask him "do you have some spare change and can you help a brotha out?"

I got interviewed for some street press or something, fuck I dont even remember, when I was supporting the Ying Yang Twins and they asked if I too had a twin.

I dont know, it just seemed like a dumb fucking question, especially because the Ying Yang Twins aren't really twins.

I think the questions that we get asked every time and really piss me off is whenever they keep asking us what gang we are from, if we dont like any other gangs, blah blah blah. Just trying to start shit really. I mean shit, ask us some questions about our fuckin music not who we dont like.

Yeah it's fuckin stupid. Dont get me wrong we all have our gang backgrounds and shit even me. But if you are going to interview us, interview us about our fuckin music not about what we do in the street.

How about "Who the fuck are you? And why the fuck would anybody care to interview you?"

Take care kind sir.
Was that ignoramus comment directed towards me, my good man? If so I'd like to offer you a nice cup of tea - of the time-tested blend, Earl of the Shut The Fuck Up Manor.
