Really really cool photos VG. I love macro stuff, I wanna get a proper lens to do that stuff. I was in the Botanic Gardens here and a guy had a super close set up on a leaf with a rain drop on it. He let me look through the viewfinder and it looked incredible. I was jealous. lol

A few of mine. I mix between landscape and portraiture. I'm gonna be starting a year coarse with a major studio soon, excited :D

Thanks for the compliment :)

I must admit, the macro lens I have is obscenely expensive but it does make taking the photos easy.

You should try some reverse macro stuff, you cant mess with the aperture and the DOF is small, but you can get some cool shots. The adapter is only about US$3 on ebay AND you can use a normal lens

This is one I took with reverse macro

I hate bugs, they are fuckers. That being said, it's still an amazing shot. Have you ever sold any of your photos? Or is this strictly a personal hobby?

Thanks man :)

Its just a hobby for me, I dont think Ive even got anything printed! I might print that peacock one though and put it on the wall.
Ive never thought about it professionally, but it would be a friggin awesome job.

I took that fly one in my apt, I saw the fly on my balcony and caught it and put it on a match box to photograph... it didnt even try to fly away! My wife said it has either given up on life or it was vain and liked having its picture taken... I prefer the latter

Yeah thats what I figure good macro lenses are crazy expensive. Just like everything else in photography haha.. I think I've sorta seen that adapter before. I can always find ways of spending money with photography haha.. I get one thing then I become obsessed with something else!
