Why do you want to let your kids drink?
because maybe, just maybe, they like the taste of beer or any other drink which contains alcohol and i dont see why they shouldnt be allowed to drink it, if its just for the taste.

Why do you want to let your kids drink, if you, yourself, don't drink?
my parents didnt say "no alcohol", so it was up to me to drink it or not. personally i decided not to drink (mainly) because of the "side effects". i dont want to get drunk and do some stupid shit and later on regret it (for example: getting involved in a brawl).

of course i've seen all this before and honestly, i think its plain dumb to get drunk. wasting a lot of money to feel bad on the next morning (physically as well as mentally if u have done something u regret now).

so basically i want to protect my kids from what i've explained, as well as protect myself from trouble, and show them that they can spend their money on more useful things.

You've never been drunk and you're going to let your kids drink. I like the fact that you're not going to tell your kids not to do something because you didn't do it, but in this specific case, that's just...weird
I totally agree. See I can respect a man's desicion but you never drank, so how can you tell your boy not to drink? See, I know you won't agree, but let's say what if you with your lifestyle actually do miss something out there...? What if..? Should your children miss those things just because you did so? I don't think so.
