What would you do in this situation?

Truthfully, a HS diploma is better than a GED looking at what you'd be getting in the process. Finishing HS would get you experience in a classroom plus a school social life.
Down the road, if you want to go to a state university then you'll need a diploma. A GED is all well and good, but you may also get sidetracked in the process.
Seriously, just finish school or else you'd get so far down on the college "waiting list" that it would be close to impossible to get on a college campus unless you have high SAT or ACT scores.
My best friend's sister got her GED from home and night school because she got pregnant, but it took her longer than it would have if she just would have finished school.

But I had the same problem, went to maybe 3 of my 7 classes a day and graduated in 5 years. What helped me out was summer school when I was a freshman and I went to Night School for 2 classes later on. The Night School was set up by my school so I'm not sure if they do it there, when I went it was new so you didn't have to pay for it but you do now so, it could be an option. Also I got credit for working after school. It was this class called wage earning, you had to work like a minimum of 13 hours a week to meet the requirements. For one class in a semester we got 5 credits and this working after school gave you 10 credits a semester plus it was an actual class so you got credit for that so it wasl ike 15 credits for one class, I did that for 2 semesters which helped a lot. But I'd stay in school, it isn't bad plus high school is tight, enjoy it while you still can.

Would you know what an A level, GCSE or A/S level is? How about an ONC, OND, HNC, HND? No, didn't think so?
I'm from the UK, so why would I know. I did state that in my post.
edit - After reading this thread, it seems I was somewhat correct, most people on here believe a GED is a joke. Seems I must have touched a nerve with you. Let me guess... You failed your GED.

I would rob a corner store, and use that money to go and buy a hot-dog stand. Spend the rest of my life outside clubs selling them shits to people too pissed to care about what ingredients they put in hot-dogs nowadays. Maybe half way through my career advance onto selling hamburgers aswell, and stocking only the Heinz sauce variety, giving me one up on the burger guy on the next block. Fall victim to food poisoning one day, from eating one of my own hot dogs, and get told by the hospital staff that I have only 24hrs to live. Leaving my final regret to be that I wish I had'nt bunked out from school.

For real though stay in school fucker. Like Dante said, GED's are a joke. Employers would much rather hire somebody with a real high school diploma than somebody with a GED. Shit even people locked up can get their GED's. Even if you dont pass that test, go back to continuation school or watever to get your high school diploma.
