masta i see you're looking through pink glasses. you're polish, plus u got no education, just high school diploma (that doesn't count). polish people can't even participate in green card lottery and taht says a lot (there are way too much uneducated polish immigrants in usa, england and other countries). don't even know about canada, but it might be possible that polish couldn't participate in similar immigration programs as greend card in states.
i fully understand you, because i'm from lithuania, we've been in the same situation, but now looks like things are getting better where i live (well, there always will be people who don't see anything good)
trust me, moving to usa or canada without any education wouldn't solve your problems and automatically create a better living vision. better finish university where u live and try later to move to other country.
and about living conditions. i lived in usa for half a year in a cheap, not so good apartment complex. at first i was amazed how quiet there was, how everyone was polite, generous and good willing. of course, i've seen police raids, guys living next door selling drugs..but comparing to my country it was like a paradise. i could walk any time in a day and most of people would greet with me. and in comparison, in lithuania, when i was living in a dorm (at a time of my studies), there was no security, everybody could walk in the dorm any time, i got robbed threatened with a knife under my throat with 3 guys against me alone..all pcs, cell phones and other valuable things were taken out, i got duct taped... know, i drive an average 10 years old car

even this oldie can be jacked any time.. remember when i bought it, car was without alarm, first night i left it outside, it got door lock broken... everytime i gotta take with me my car cd receiver, cause junkies would bust a window and grab it...such is live, but i'm not complaining, you just get used to it and everything seems to be normal.
all i know that to live in states is much more safer, even in not so safe districts (in american's point of view)
i don't even wanna compare how much you and me are earning, cuz it will make me wanna cry
