from what i heard, pacs last first on old skool was originally teamed up with Richie rich, i think , but that was taken of.

There has been slight differences in some of the beats, there was a version of So many tears that pac did with stretch, but that was removed.

I think this is a great album, and i never get tired of it. Its getting a lot of play at the moment, I love the whole feeling about the album.

9.5/10

for me

One of pacs best albums imo

For me his best album, not his most legendary album: that is Makaveli.

I love So many tears, Lord knows, Me against the world (third verse), Young niggaz, Dear mama, It aint easy and Old School!
It is soooo deep! :thumb:

Incredible album, possibly the most personal and reflective hip hop album of all time, and perhaps in ANY genre. Overall, id rate as being the #2 album in his catalog (behind only DK7). The production on a few songs is slightly dated but thats really the only flaw the album has. "So Many Tears" is my fav song on the album and is one of his greatest songs ever, hands down. Lord Knows, If I Die 2Nite, Dear Mama, Death Around the Corner, It Aint Easy, and Heavy in the Game (underrated song) are all amazing too.

5/5 classic album

btw, this WAS Pac's fav album but im pretty sure that changed once DK7 was recorded :D

The first and still my favourite of Pac's albums. 'Heavy in the Game' is totally underrated I think mainly cuz of that annoying Jamaican woman who ruins the song for me. Apart from that I can't think of a bad song or even line on the album. Definitely a 5 mic.

An interesting fact that even I didn't know until the other day is that Stretch is on the released version of So Many Tears, he's doing the backing vocals and fill-ins. It's strange why they removed his verse though.

Peace.
