i worked with a guy who had that same car but in red, same year too. cool car. looked fun to drive. the only problem he ever had with it was the rockford fostgate sound system that came with it.

Rear end reminds me of the Impreza. I like the anthracite coloured rims. I dont like the black strip on your front. I like the car overall.

Tha black strip is just an OEM rock deflector. But yeah this car is pretty fast off the line :D

I just gotta figure out how to program my compu star now.

Yea the rims are nice, are those powdercoated or do they actually make em like that? Put a nice lil turbo on that and come race my Evo ;); truth is with a turbo tuned right you would probably kick major ass and mine too

its nice, but im not a sucker for imports....

the end does look like an impreza, which i really dont like, but overall, i'd take it too...if i had a choice though....i've said it before, i'd take an 06 GTO over alotta stuff around its base price....any car in the world, it'd prolly be different, but for 35K, i think the GTO would shit on anything cheaper than it....let me know if im wrong..

yeah the dude i knew, his sounded pretty nice, he said it started to short out after he had the car for about a year and had around 20,000 miles on it (i think). could have just been his. who knows. still a really cool car.:thumb:

yeah, same thing happened with this car too. It was a factory defect and the speakers were recalled and replaced.

Evo? Nice, which generation?

And i don't think you can tune a Sentra up to Evo performance standards. Sentra is after all still FWD, and there are simple limitations on how much power you can put through there without losing serious handling abilities.

I actually like the GTO. I would be tempted to buy an Impreza over it, but not with the new generation. They're fugly. Look like Seats. There are many cars i'd have over the GTO, but it indeed gives a lot of bang for your buck.

for some reason, its so hard to find a picture of a GTO with hood scoops...without them, they look like whales....like the picture i posted in that other thread....

and i got thread confused, duke...it was in this one where i said that the GTO was good for a car at 35K...i thought i had said that in the other thread when i made that one comment...
