I may go to court as a witness.

My pharmacy was approached by a special agent (meaning he works for the FBI) about a lady that committed an endless string of crimes. Its unbelievable the trouble she's gotten herself into, but I may very well become a witness.

Here are some of the things she's done:

1. Insurance fraud. She used someone else's insurance to process her prescriptions. She used her neighbor's insurance meaning she incurred a lot of money for her neighbors.
2. Identity Theft. She wrote prescriptions for herself in the name of several doctors. That means she's stolen the identity of all those doctors. She used their information to do everything.
3. She may very well face drug charges, because she obtained drugs like Percocet (one of the most dangerous legal drugs out there) with fake prescriptions.

The list goes on. With these actions I listed above, she can be charged with tons of things. It doesn't mean that one action will result in one charge. There'll be a lot of things.

Several people at my pharmacy have been asked questions. I believe I am next. Because I am the best with faces and customers, I may recognize her. At least one person has recognized her.

This is going to be exiting...

PS: I wish I was a witness in the Michael Jackson trial, but that's only in my dreams.

I am tired of people asking me for drugs! Its true I have access to everything a druggie could dream of.

She's a nurse...soon to be former nurse. They make a lot of money. It must have been because she's an addict because she's been doing this for a while.

There's no legitimate reason for stealing other people's identities. Lets say she stole their car. I wouldn't really care, but she stole their identities. They'll have to spend a lot of time to get things sorted out.

Anyhoo, snitc...I mean, 'testifying' is a personal decision & really, no-one but you can decide what effect fulfilling, or turning your back, such an act would have on your conscience.

In your case, you had the right to plead the fifth on the base of self-incrimination. Therefore, you pleading the fifth stopped you from incriminating yourself and exposing your stupidity to the teacher. Therefore, by pleading the fifth, you protected yourself.
