Flashbacks

Anyone ever have any 'legit' flash backs, without really thinking about anything in particular?

I'm going to ramble away, so excuse my grammar, so I don't forget the thought.

When wishing aRon a happy b-day, I just remembered my friend from elementary.

I knew him for a year, he was a little black kid that was FUNNY as hell. He is up there with the people that give off sooo much positive energy, you were just drawn to him.

Anyway, as funny as he was, we once got into this little argument. He "HELPED his brother" sell drugs, to get a CD player, so he was bumping the shit out of his Biggie CD. At the time, I ignored the fact that he sold drugs and just blurted out that Pac was better. hahaha.

...Back then, I didn't even have a favorite rapper, so I don't even know why I even brought Pac into it. Maybe because my brothers listened to Dear Mama and other songs so much that I brought him up.

Anyway,
This dude felt SO strong about it, that the next day, he 'wanted to show me something' and pulled a gun out on me when it was still in his back pack. His Demeanor changed SO MUCH that I swore I was looking at someone different. He said, "Mothafucka, ever disagree with me again, and I'll FUCKING KILL YOU."

For some reason, I wasn't scared until I got home, and he pulled it out on me at lunch time, so we had a few periods in between where I could have ratted or cried.

We were in like 3rd grade, or something...
I didn't tell anyone about it. We remained friends and it was almost like it never happened because he had so much 'positive' energy and acted like nothing happened.

Once we moved I saw him once. I don't know if he remembered me, but it was a good few years later...
he was out rapping the shit out of "Thong Song" with his ghetto ass clothes and tiny backpack trying to hit on some girl.

Anyone have random flash backs?

Could flashbacks be a little stronger, maybe? Instead of just thinking them, you feel them, almost experience it more vividly all over again?

That's exactly the example I was gonna use. I just thought I would be wrong.

So, how's life?

yea some people change when they believe they have some sort of power or advantage over others. apart from that they are just like any one else.

i dont think ive ever had flashbacks, in terms of those which are vivid. i have had deja vu's.

anyone here know anyone who has autism or aspergers, they might have reported cases of vivid visual imagery and/or eidetic imagery, perhaps even including olfactory sensations.

Oh, right. MSN. You mean the thing you use but never respond on? Ok. Yeah, we'll do that.

When I think of flashbacks I think of post war vets who have PTSD.
This is the same thing I was thinking.

Nah, I've never had one of those. I'd like to have one, one day, while i'm outside in a crowd about something extremely funny that happened in my life. That could be interesting.
